Upcoming Memoirs!
I am currently working on my fourth memoir, tentatively titled, HAPPY HELLIDAYS: One Family's Insane Celebrations from Valentine's to Christmas.
This memoir is a collection of essays celebrating, lamenting and lampooning the never-ending holiday season and the American family's impossible obsession with making each and every holiday picture-perfect. HAPPY HELLIDAYS is a hilarious compilation of tender, torturous and touching tales about my family's holidays. It is a book that will not only help guide you through the darkest of holi-days, but also be a great holiday gift.
HAPPY HELLIDAYS has already generated a great response from readers, who all seem to say, "Oh, my God! I can sooooo relate. But, if you wanna hear bad, let me tell you about Thanksgiving with my husband's family ... " (or Hanukkah with my Aunt Joan, or Christmas with my sister Helen.)
I am also working (very secretly and very slowly) on my first novel, as well as adapting my first memoir, the critically-acclaimed AMERICA'S BOY, into a screenplay.
